  1. He who blesses others is blessed, and he who injures others is injured. Such is a great law.
  2. Full of meaning is life to him who, renouncing the fruit of action, dedicates himself to the atman, the spirit.
  3. All sin and suffering have but one source, - man's denial of his own divinity.
  4. Two passions, specially must be combated and conquered. The first is impurity; the second is anger.
  5. If the heart be dark, books can teach nothing !
  6. The light of the lord shines in them that seek after Him and are restless until they find their rest at His Lotus-Feet.
  7. Art thou perplexed by the problem of life? Don't worry! go into silence! Thou will glimpse a solution.
  8. When we learn to look upon things as "empty", we grow in true wisdom of the heart.
  9. Let me plan nothing. Is not my life in His Hands? And He hath planned what is best for me.
  10. The secret of self-discipline is purity.
  11. So bless me Thou, that in all my long exile, from birth to birth, Thy Love may ne'er be lost to me.
  12. Wherever Thou keep me, let me feel that Thou art nigh, and that I have the blessings of Thy Lotus-Feet!
  13. As the body is purified by water, so is the mind purified by truthfulness.
  14. One is the ideal I keep before me every day:- " Be like a little child."
  15. Humility is a step to the Infinite: for to be humble is to be linked with the Lord!
  16. I am not anxious for tomorrow. Each tomorrow is in His Hands. And He knows best!
  17. Man's destiny is to be a divine bird, - to grow wings and fly from this world of darkness to the radiant world of light.
  18. Better than the glamour of riches is the simple living that rejoices in the name of God.
  19. Know Thyself, - said Socrates. But no one Knows himself until he is opposed. Knowledge comes through conflict.
  20. In the message of unity with flower and flies, with bird and animal, there is methinks, a hope for mankind.
  21. What is death? A gate to another life. To understand this is to be fearless.
  22. Loving God, let me learn to love all. Let me love even those who go astray, - the sinners, not alone the saints.
  23. Every day, man must be, for some time at least, alone with God.
  24. Stand up with faith in Him who leads us on, out of storm into calm, out of darkness into Light!
  25. To defend the weak, to guard those that are below us in the scale of evolution, is to grow in the nobility and strength of life.
  26. Let your thoughts dwell on the invisible, for thoughts are internal forces.
  27. Not many realize that life, at its noblest, is a Yatra, a pilgrimage to God.
    The infinite is our true home.
  28. What is the secret of true beauty?
    Simplicity
  29. Which is the way to keep ever awake?
    This, - to feel as thou dost draw thy breath that it may be thy last!
  30. I believe that all Jivas (creatures) are one in the Eternal One. And whoever kills a creature hurts the Eternal Heart.
  31. He liveth well who thinketh well, - thinketh noble thoughts, beautiful thoughts, thoughts which are true and good and radiant.
