Our special thanks to Dr. P.K. Grant of the Ruby Hall Nursing Home and his cardiac surgeon, Dr. Ramesh Seshadri, who performed the surgeries. The expenditure on the camp and surgeries amounted to Rs 1,00,000/-.

Just One Example:

Mr. Sadwani is a 53 year old man. He is physically disabled, having lost one leg in a traumatic train accident, 25 years ago. When he developed severe unstable angina, Mr. Sadhwani's life became quite difficult. He began to wonder if he would ever recover from the terrible pain of his affliction--for medical treatment for his condition was way beyond his means.
Under the Pune Centre's Thanksgiving Week Cardiac Care Programme, Mr. Sadhwani underwent a successful coronory bypass operation, for total arterial re-vascularisation. Thanks to the healing touch of Dr. Seshadri, Mr. Sudwani is now back home--free from the debilitating pain that med life unbearable for him!

Mumbai

Another Example:

Mrs. Bhagwanti Malkani is just 25 years old, and the mother of two little children. Her life became one long trial of pain an daffliction due to a defective hear-valve which needed to be replaced. Alas, this was way beyond her meagre means!
Thanks to the Bombay Centre, Mrs. Malkani's life was transformed after a successful valve-replacement surgery at Hunduja Hospital. The young mother is now fit and fine, and can look forward to meeting the challenges and joys of motherhood!

Delhi

The thanksgiving week service programme was a successful joint venture of the Sadhu Vaswani Centre and Escorts Hospital, New Delhi. Nearly 350 patients aged between five and eighty seven attended the free heart camp. Free ECG's were done on 350 patients, 38 were put through free Echo tests. Free bypass surgeries were performed on 9 patients. The total expenditure on the surgereies amounted to Rs. 12,34,610/-.
Kudos to the Escorts Hospital -- specially to Dr. Naresh Trehan who was personally involved in the surgeries. Our gratitude to mr. Goi Malani for his effective coordination of the entire programme.
The Delhi Centre also organized a Bhajan programme. Countless debotees were transported to realms of ecstasy by the soulful rendering by the famous Sudhanshu Maharaj!

A Third Example:

Aman Arora was to all appearance, a lovely baby. Imagine his parents' horror when he developed a congenital heart disorder before he was barely two months old!
For four years, it seemed that the little boy lived like the fluttering flame of a candle in the wind--until hope came to him and his sorrowing parents through the timely help of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission's Delhi Centre. The pale, underweight child was treated surgically at Escorts Hospital, by the able hands of Dr. Naresh Trehan. Whe he was discharged from hospital, the little lad had already gained in weight!

Life is a loan given to us to be spent in the service of those less fortunate than ourselves.
